Bengaluru, New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Pune are the top cities of India that support ideas and innovation the most and have efficient Startup ecosystem. Bengaluru ranked at 11th position globally for the startup ecosystem in 2019 as per the report by StartupBlink, Switzerland based start up ecosystem mapping agency. They analyzed the startup ecosystem of 1000 cities and 100 countries and presented the report. This time Hyderabad made its entry to top 100 and is now a 75th best city in the world which supports startups.
As a Country
India as a country, ranked at 17th position in supporting the startup ecosystem. As per Inc42 data labs, 3800 new startups were launched in India during last year. Indian startups received $11 billion of funding through 743 deals in 2018. And E-commerce, Consumer services, and fintech sectors are the top three sectors which received the highest funding
The World Scenario
As mentioned in the report of StartupBLink, US remains unchallenged leader of the global startup ecosystem. San Francisco, Newyork, and London are the top 3 cities having a robust startup ecosystem globally.
